| Hey guys I wanted to ask you guys what kind of layout you guys do for your house. My mom wanted to put in tiles all around the house. We currently have carpet. The carpet is warm, comfortable, and soft to walk on. However, I hate to vacuum the carpet. The color is dark green so you could see the debris easily. My mom is considering putting in porcelain or travertine all around the house.
I told her it's going to be cold when she walks on it. The travertine also have pores so it will stain easily. I was thinking about telling her to install the tiles inside the kitchen and bathroom. The other rooms she could install laminate or bamboo flooring. I don't think the whole house will look great with tiles everywhere. |
