| A year ago my wife and I put in an engineered floor in our 3500 sq home in Orange County, California. We were looking for a Brazilian Cherry, but ended putting in Santos Mahogany because of the better "uniformity".
We shopped everything from crappy 2' Brazilian from China to very expensive Mannington. We ended up using:
Pros: Beautiful Coloring, Uniform color, 4' planks (make sure you don't get a lot of short planks!), Cost: very reasonable
I highly recommend this product if you can tolerate the "pea size" shattered lacquer if you drop a fork. Feel free to contact me with questions. |
