Dull wood floor

We had beautiful 5 inch mahogoany flooring installed throughout our main floor. We didn't want a real shiny look, so we chose a satin, non-slip finish. After living with it for 3 months now, I'm still disappointed in the finish. It always looks dull, flat, and dusty within a short time after cleaning (with Bona products). There's no sheen to it at all. Is there anything that can be done (short of refinishing) to bring out some shine at this stage?

RE: Dull wood floor

You can remove all the home's furniture and screen and recoat with a higher gloss product, but the dust, dirt, and footprints will be even more evident on a higher gloss finish. Especially on a dark floor, which is the real culprit here.
