I purchased Carlisle flooring in the past. It is very nice, but costly. Is there an alternative?

Use narrower width floors. Premium materials command a premium price.

It gets harder and harder to meet high grades with longer or wider planks. The trees do not seem intersted in cooperating.

"Teka" Hardwood Flooring has a collection called "Landscrape" which comes in 7" to 8" wide, 3/4" thick, 7' plus long. It is priced well.

Teka is produced in Indonesia. Buyer beware.
