Want dark cork floors, but too much fading risk???

Hi there,
we have decided to go with 100% cork tiles in our kitchen/great room area. We have white cabinets and very dark grey/black counters. I think that dark would look best, but we have very large windows in this area, so they will for sure fade.

Does anyone have experience with dark cork fading or do you think that a lighter color will look ok with our cabinets/counters? Does anyone have pictures?

Thanks,
Kelly

We have a similar kitchen and selected dark cork planks. Since installation in 2007 we have not noticed fading. But the sun never shines on the floor. (so to speak). If your floor receives direct sun light you may have fading.
