| First, a request for an update from anyone who has lookoed at or installed mesquite flooring. I searched and found just a couple of mentions considering it but none installed. Has anyone installed it? Is it what you expected and do you have any issues with it? What kind of installation do you have?
I first saw mesquite available only as 3/4" boards laid over 3/4" plywood, but now I am seeing unfinished 1/2" planks that I am told can glue down over a concrete slab because of the stability of the mesquite wood. That's what I'm considering now. I will post a separate question about the finish, but if you have mesquite, please feel free to share that info here too. Thanks! |
