Shaw laminates

Hi, we have on hold the Shaw Laminate SL244 Natural Values II in 651 Fairfield Pine.

We are doing our kitchen and yes, we have 3 kids and a dog. They are not young children, nor do we have the ice in the door option for our new fridge (a common water mess for many families). I recognize this is not the highest end Shaw flooring, but it is a good price. How many years can we realistically expect given normal wear and tear?

We would buy this product through a local flooring shop that has been here a long time. We have used this shop for minor projects and liked the quality of their products. Thank you for your thoughts!
