Botched carpet cleaning

I decided to clean my own carpet this time so I rented a cleaner and I think the machine was Rug Doctor. I ended up soaking the carpet in especially dirty areas and now I have some brown spot areas and the most dirty area is still not clean although most of the carpet is much better.

How do I get my carpet clean? It is a light carpet.

Call a pro. If you don't get the moisture out of it, you may end up replacing it.
