Grrrrrout lines in kitchen

Here we have newly installed 20" porcelain tile (rectified) 45 degree with requested 1/8" grout lines (spacers were used). I'm not feeling good about the workmanship. There are varied grout lines - 1/8 to 1/4 - corners slightly off and a bit of lippage. It was installed directly to the slab after removing vinyl. There was no floor prep other than scraping old vinyl glue away. The question is, was I asking too much using a large format rectified tile. Should I be happy? I purposely stayed away from travertine but still wanted that look. Just looking for opinions. Thx!

Doesn't look too terrible to me. Line up a dozen or so tiles and measure the smallest to the biggest ones. What is the variation? A grout joint should be about three times the size of the variation.

If they vary 1/8"......the joints should be a minimum of 3/8" inch.

Your floor-as-a-whole photo, the tile looks good.

Being rectified, 1/8" lines should have been achievable. If you had lippage everywhere, then one of the leveling systems could have helped eliminate or minimize that.

It's always nice to have a perfect installation. If you have one or two areas of lippage and one or two wonky grout lines, that could be expected in a typical installation by a typical installer.

If the lippage results in a raised corner of tile that could rip open a stubbed toe, that should be repaired.

Looks pretty good to me too.
