Vapor Barrier under Marmoleum Click question

Hi there!

We have a wood subfloor in our kitchen over a crawlspace. We needed to level and raise the floor height, so we used concrete floor leveler over the entire kitchen floor. We installed the kitchen cabinets right on the concrete (Ikea cabs with plastic legs).

Now I'm ready to install my click Marmoleum and it says we have to use a 2mm vapor barrier over the concrete, but it also says we should run the vapor barrier up the walls 2 inches. Obviously I can no longer do that. My question is, should I run the vapor barrier all the way under the cabinets and cut around the feet (I know, sounds like fun! This is how our install has been going!) or just run it behind the toekick under the front of the cabinets?

There are only a couple places where the marmoleum will come in contact with a wall; approximately 2-3 linear feet of wall total. The rest of the time, it will butt up to cabinets or my hardwoods in the doorways.

Thanks!

DJ
