Water resistant laminate

I've been looking around for a water resistant laminate (water resistant at the seams, that is). According to one salesman I spoke with the density of the core is what matters most when it comes to avoiding swelling from water. I noticed some brands offer waxed edges, but as for core density there's really no good way to measure it.

Any general tips for finding a laminate that is water resistant? Any recommendations?

Your salesman is correct. Its the core that matters.

Mannington had a laminate that was actually made of corrugated plastic. A friend of mine had installed in an outdoor porch/kitchen. Since I don't do laminate, I don't know if they still have it, but it's a place to start.

Looks like Mannington no longer makes their waterproof laminate.
