How to repair a gap on click lock floating floor

Lumber Liquidators suggested this gaping and curling up was created because I failed to install transitions between the kitchen and bathroom and the floor was unable to float as a unit. I realize the right way to repair this floor would be to dismantle every thing from the wall to the gap and start clicking and locking in tiles again. However, I decided not to take this route because the floor has wilted and I don't want to take the time to repair a wilted floor. I just want to keep family members from tripping on the tiles until I have time to replace this wilted vinyl with ceramic tiles. Question: I was planning to remove portions of the moisture barrier so that I could just glue it down. Any other suggestions? If glueing down is the best option, what type of glue do you suggest?
