Floor for laundry room

I need suggestions for the floor in our laundry room. It is 50 sq ft and located upstairs.
We wanted to install tiles but a friend mentioned that being on 2nd floor the vibrations will be transmited in the whole house if we put tiles.
I like cork tiles, I found some for $1.5 /sq ft. How difficult is it to install them? We will need to put something on the subfloor to bring them at the same level with hte hallway floor (hardwood) - what can we use below them? Are cork tiles a good choice for a laundry room? Is the click style easier to install?
We need something not very expensive and relatively easy to install. I would like to avoid anything that offgasses a lot because we are doing the whole house floor and paint and moving soon.

Regardless of what flooring you install in the laundry room, vibrations will still be transmitted to adjoining rooms and between floors. And, actually, ceramic tile over a ceramic tile mortar bed or other suitable underlayment might actually add mass needed to prevent some vibrations from traveling elsewhere in the house structure.

Any floating floor will have the issue of degradation of a wood core (if present) when subjected to surface water spills and that which gets underneath from large spills, so consider that.

Quality sheet vinyl will have none of the moisture issues that a floating floor may have.
