| Interesting read from Hardwood Floors Magazine and some interesting posts on the blog.
This is a complicated issue and the posters raise some valid points in defense of their exotic wood industry. However, that granted, the Brazilian rainforests are disappearing due to human intervention. Yes, the forests are also being cut down to provide for cattle grazing and soybean production, but that is a short-sighted endeavor, which the Brazilian people will come to regret. |
