I believe you should use either threshold or square nose in the link below.

do you have to use something? are the floors at different levels? I love the no threshold look, and went sans saddles in my house where the wood and tile/marble meet.

but i can't even picture how it would look with the meeting of these two materials without a threshold. anyone want to post pictures for me?
