| I know this is a long shot, not only because this is a national board, but also because the forums are so splintered that there might be someone with a great answer who has no reason to be in the Flooring forum - but I'll give it a shot.
Any recommendations for New York City companies that do wood flooring? I've talked to about ten so far, and had four in to look at the needed repair, but the guys that seem good have been impossible to pry an estimate from them. |

| I used Shalom Flooring and was very happy with them. Many years ago they installed my kitchen floor and 3 yrs. ago they re-coated my kitchen floor and installed an engineered wood floor in my den. http://www.shalomflooring.com |

| I used master flooring in nj.. but they will travel. 732 233 2131 they gave me an estimate on the spot. I called several people also.. and some took a week to get back to me, others never responded. |
