Theres not much to be done outside of him shimming the right of the floor. Is the wood tight?

Who installed the shoe? What bothers me mostly is the sloppy work at the rightside door casing. No reason to have a piece of shoe there. Did the installer undercut the trim? Or did he just get close and hence the need for shoe there?

(Had to look up 'shimming'!) Anyway he said that any additional layering would result in squeaky floors.
Yes the wood is tight and he sounded confident that nothing would happen to the floor in terms of loose boards or buckling which is my fear.
The shoe molding at the corner is over the patio door's vertical clam shell molding. How should that have been finished?
He probably took a short cut - but what should he have done to have done it right?

Yeah i wouldnt worry about buckleing. The floor just dips down. Shiming could have equaled it out but that like i said isnt what concerned me.

His sloppyness is that he didnt undercut the door molding and decided his shoe job would look good. (It doesnt). Your floor from what i see looks good. Its just a shame he got sloppy with the shoe.

If you cut the bottom of the door trim so you can install the wood underneath thus not needing the shoe.

I dont mean to make it sound like the job sucks. Overall it seems good just the shoe job bugs me.
