Slate-look Laminate Comparisons

I am thinking of installing a (black) slate-look laminate in my kitchen. I'm debating between Armstrong Ebony Mist, Pergo XP Monson Slate, and Columbia Evening Mist. If anyone has any experience and/or opinions in the above laminates, I'd love to hear from you!

None of it looks---or more importantly, SOUNDS---like real slate. If you want fake slate, then look at doing a porcelain tile. And, unless you like being a slave to a swiffer, choose something other than black.

If you want laminate, then look at one of the fake wood looks. It's not real either, but it's a bit more convincing except for the hollow sound it will make.
