| Hi! In my kitchen, I just installed Giallo Vicenza granite countertop and island on my older but still good golden oak cabinets. These cabinets are quite golden-colored. Giallo VIcenza is gold, black, tan, and white colored. I have white appliances. I have a blonde oak hardwood floor in the room and need to have the floor refinished. Now is my chance to go darker with the stain on the flooring and I am being encouraged to do so by a friend to "ground" the room and to bring out the colors in the granite. I am torn as to whether to leave it light or go darker. Does anyone have advice for me? If I go darker, what color and shade? The kitchen is not large. I am having difficulty visualizing a darker floor in this room. Also, my home is very light with many windows. Thanks for your help! |
