| Hello,
I have been told that you have to install an expansion strip if your room is 30 feet or longer in any direction. I am wondering if anyone has installed cork without this strip? What is going to happen if I do not use an expansion strip? TIA |

| "Orient the flooring so you stay under the 30' across the grain" is the pat answer. But cork has no grain. Does the manuf. have a tech line ? If these are glue-down solid cork tiles, there is no issue, as the material is going to move in concert with the underlayment. If it's an engineered product over a substrate, the tech line is your best hope. Casey |
