Engineered floor over parquet?

Hi. I live in an old condo building with parquet floors which are glued onto concrete. It would be a big cost and huge mess to tear up the parquet. Is it possible to install an engineered wood floor over the parquet? If so, any recommendations? Thanks!

Yeah you can do that. By which method were you thinking you wanted to secure it to the floor? Glue? Float? Nail?

Having parquet is nice because with any prefinished floor you want a level surface and with the parquet you can sand out any humps.
