Felt pads. Replaced frequently.

If your felt pads won't stick, make sure the bottom of the chair legs are clean before reapplying. Roughing up with sand paper might help. If they're porous, like wood, you can apply a layer or two of contact cement and let it dry to help the felt pads stick better.

Good tips. Only thing ill add is if there is a plastic cap on the bottom remove that before applying the felt pad.

Those felt pads are not designed to be permenant. They get dirty and wear just like anything else. So its good practice to change them out once a year
