We're thinking of tiling the laundry room in our basement, which is currently bare concrete. Should it be sealed first?

The basement is dry, but does get humid/sorta dank during the summer (nothing a couple of dehumidifiers can't handle).

We weren't going to use anything to fancy, just some of the "nicer" peel and stick tile from HD/Menards (TrafficMaster resilient tile or something similar).
