I'm not a tile expert but I think that's not Saltillo tile.
It looks like a glazed/fired ceramic tile, like this.

If you want real Saltillo tile, I believe it's still made.
Lowes has something that says it's Saltillo.

i am looking for the porcelain version... made by marazzi i think. but all the stores near where i am renovating say they can''t get it because.....well, you know,.....out of style.

jcfwood gave me the efloors site (chicago). they say they have the tile but would need to ship to ny. sounds awfully $$$.

maybe i need to give up and go with what "everyone" is doing these days!

If that's what you want, you should look into the shipping. It can't be that expensive. Another option would be to contact Marazzi to see if a supplier in you area might have it. Even if it's not popular or stocked locally, they might be able to ship it along with another shipment to your local Marazzi distributor.
