Carpet choice

We have decided to go with a nylon Frieze face weight 30 with a twist of 6.1. This is going up a set of stairs and into our kids playroom and bedrooms...my question is should I go with the next better version of the same carpet. I believe the face weight is higher but the twist is the same. We are hoping that this carpet will last 7 years or so. What is your opinion?
