| We have decided to go with a nylon Frieze face weight 30 with a twist of 6.1. This is going up a set of stairs and into our kids playroom and bedrooms...my question is should I go with the next better version of the same carpet. I believe the face weight is higher but the twist is the same. We are hoping that this carpet will last 7 years or so. What is your opinion? |

| frieze's are normally very long lasting carpet. Face wt isn't all that critical in a 'looser' type construction. Its the twist that matters. Since stairs are more prone to wear as long as your maintaining it well it should do fine. How much more is the upgrade? |
