Dents on newly refinished hardwood floor

Kristen Hallock

We just had our red oak floors refinished. The flooring guy put 3 coats of oil based polyurethane on the floors.

Then we covered the floors with Ram Board to protect them while we did some remodeling. My husband tore out sheetrock and when he dropped it on the floor he dented a few placed on the floor. I'm upset about it but whats done is done.

The dents seem to have come up mostly but I am wondering if we should reseal the floors? is there a way to apply polyurethane to spots on the floor? Should i leave as is? Its not that noticeable unless you know its there.
