Does anyone have any experience with Shaw's wild jatoba from Surplus Warehouse? Looking for an inexpensive laminate which looks good.

You get what you pay for. They sell seconds for the most part. Or cheap Chinese crap.

Why do you say that? They said their cabinets are built in the U.S. The laminates were are looking at are a Shaw brand.

RE: Surplus Warehouse laminate

No, their cabinets are assembled in the US. They are Chinese through and through. The cabinet rep tried to get us to carry them. We refused. Too poorly constructed and with cheap no name hardware.

All of their pre-fab slabs come in a container straight from China too.

The flooring may be Shaw but they are seconds. Ones that were culled and can't be sold as first quality. EC Barton does the same thing everywhere and I know someone who works at the main office.
