What type of Floor?

I have cherry wood cabinets in the kitchen and currently have brazilian wood floors in cherry color. We are replacing our floors and cannot decide what to choose. We want something modern. Thought about the porcelin tile that looks like wood but none of the wood colors match well with the cabinets. Maybe we have to go light????

If it's Brazilian Cherry, have it sanded, bleached and pickled.
