We are doing a new build. Last night while installing the fridge, one of the wheels dragged and made dent as it was going into the slot. It did not scratch the finish,but rather dented the floor.

My husband thinks we should steam it out. A friend who was there is a woodworker and told him that since it is a pre-finished floor you may mess up the finish by doing so. I just went online and did some reading and indeed this does sound like what will happen.

This is a pre-finished Mohawk oak floor.

Are there any suggestions?
