Concrete Staining

Posted by That4car (My Page) on

I am planning to stain a small concrete floor and want to put a design (image of our lake) in on the floor in a different color. I would appreciate any tips or direction to sites where I can find information on how to do this. For example, should I stain the entire floor (approximately 10 x 20) and then use a stencil to stain or paint the design into the middle? I appreciate any assistance.

Because of concrete's porous qualities and neutral tone, it is the perfect blank canvas for topically applied color. You can check it here:

That sounds really cool! I don't have any tips for you, but please post pictures when you are finished. I'd love to see it! (We planned to stain our basement floor, but can't because it's been painted already. Very disappointed!)
