Dontom, I also would love to see pictures of your Lauzon's natural Oak floors since I am going back and forth in going with a Brazilian Cherry (BR-111 3.25" wide Triangulo Engineered Wood Floor.... love this so much but my Townhouse does not get that much light and I fear it will darken up the rooms), Mirage Maple Lock, Mirage Red Oak Natural Lock, Or Mirage Red Oak Auburn Lock. I would love to see what a plain sawn cut Red Oak Floor looks like with various furniture, lighting, etc. I also love Quartersawn Oak but the Engineered Versions are expensive.

My neighbor stopped waiting for me and just bought Bruce Glencove Engineered 3" wide with the Eased Edges for her townhouse in the Butterscotch Color. The price at $2.99 sq. foot was so great that I was tempted but I really dislike the rotary peel look and the eased edges get so dirty. I want a micro-bevel edge and a plain sawn cut or a quartersawn or rift sawn cut of the wood if it is affordable for me. I still have to buy a new dishwasher, stove and water heater so I can't spend so much on a new floor and really was hoping to not go much more than $5/sq foot before installation materials and installation.
