To seal or not?!

I am in the midst of scrubbing grout in kitchen floor-porcelain tiles. I am using oxyclean, a stiff brush and rinsing-then using wet vac to dry. The floor was tiled 10 yrs ago, and we have resealed the grout about every 2 yrs. We are doing a facelift in the kitchen so I am trying to brighten up the grout back to its original shade. Assuming the grout looks clean and even-toned when it dries completely, should I re-seal it?

Use a urethane grout stain in the original color. That will make it look like new and eliminate the sealing chore.

It's strange that the nonsand grout near my shower recessed niche turned dark after I applied the sealant. It did not happen to the grout in other areas.

Hollysprings, I wonder if I can use the urethane grout stain in bone color to fix it. Where can I buy it? Thank you very much.
