natural curved floor boards

Just saw this on a tech blog I follow. Flooring that's cut in wide long lengths along the grain, with natural curves left in. I imagine it's got to be ridiculously expensive, and a bear to install. Might be dizzying in large quantities, but for a den, office, or other small space it'd be great.

Those cannot be "natural curves" or they would never mate uip as tightly as shown.

I purchase hardwood lumber that ois bark to bark from the butt when I need wide pieces (like 23 inches of cherry).
The edges of the successive planks from the same butt never match that tightly.
