Porcelain tile that looks like wood

Do you think that wood looking porcelain tile would look good in a dining room has any one else went this way and how do you like it. And ifnot what other tile would you use for the floor besides hardwood

I think it would look great in a dining room. If you are not willing to put wood or laminate, tile is always a safe choice. Just remember, if you have guests sliding their chairs in and out often, you may end up with scratching though.

Laminate is yucky lol. I'm prob will be putting a area rug down also to help with the chairs

We put wood grained porcelain in our bathroom. It looks great. The dining room would be great with hardwood. The porcelain might be a bit cold in a dining room. Hardwood is warmer and can be protected with felt.
