We are prepping house for resale. Want to sand and seal 25 year old oak kitchen floor but not the dining room/living room which is separated from kitchen by a wall and a pocket door. What do you think about staining the board under pocket door a color between the newly refinished "white" oak and the "orangey" color of the dining room (which flows to living room)? Trying to avoid refinishing a floor whose only issue is that it is faded and doubling the project cost. Thanks in advance to all who reply.
