You didn't describe what "that vacuuming issue" might exactly be.

I have read many things that say that Smartstrand Silk is hard to vacuumed with many types of vacuum cleaners, especially Dysons. I know that Mohawk has a list of approved vacuums but I am not sure that I want a carpet that is that picky.

Most manufacturers specifically prohibit the use of Dyson vacuums on their carpet products. Read the fine print with anyone. Dyson beats the carpet strands to death instead of properly vacuuming them.

@prairiefox - If I'm not mistaken, Dyson vac's are not CRI (Carpet and Rug Institute) approved. That should be pretty telling about how they treat carpets...

Any high pile carpet or premium soft carpet will require similar consideration when it comes to using a vacuum, not just Silk. If you want the softest, most luxurious carpet, you must treat it accordingly.
