Improve Oak Floors that Can't be Sanded any more

Posted by NYChelen (My Page) on

My very old oak hardwood floors can no longer be sanded (too many times). I found a series of stores on web called Mr. Sandless but feedback is awful on them. I have black on my floors - probably dirt. I know I can't get them to be beautiful but what could I do to freshen them up. I'm not in a position to replace them and can't use rugs.

Thank for any advise.

You can try cleaning with paint thinner.

Is is flammable, so wit till the weather is good enough to open windows.
