Cleaning engineered

We just put in new engineered mannington American walnut. All thru my first floor! My contractor told me to use only vinegar and warm water to clean the floors! He said not to use Bruce or Bona or anything else! We did an entire gut job and I know he had to use a stain to fill in some scratches and dents that occurred , my guess is the other commercial cleaners will remove the stain!Any one else just use the vinegar and water?? How well does it work??

What care instructions did Mannington include in the box or website? You have to do what they recommend if warranty is to be maintained.

I've used only water & vinegar on my Lauzon engineered flooring.

Some flooring companies ate horrified at vinegar & water. Check the docs or call to see what they say. Vinegar is edible but still a pretty strong acid. Water is never recommended. Buff dry as you go. Continued use over time might be a problem.
