Stained Concrete Indoor Flooring

| I have seen images online of concrete floors that are acid stained and shined that look beautiful. Does anyone have any experience with this? Seen it in person? In a home? |

| We just signed a contract to buy a house with stained concrete. Here are a couple of pics:
It is not bad looking although I probably wouldn't have had it done myself. |

| We have stained concrete floors in the lower level of our house. We are on our second concrete floor in less than 10 years due to ground moisture seeping through the floor. The moisture pushes up the micro topping leaving dimples and pits. We thought by using a stronger (of course who knows if it WAS) water barrier sealant we could avoid the problem. It did not. The areas not affected by moisture are great, and it is an economical and eco-friendly option. We are happy with them, but preparing to make a change again. Perhaps we'll tile this time. |
