asbestos worry

Yesterday I oversaw the removal of linoleum from my daughter's kitchen in her apartment without her knowledge and had new floor tiles installed. The floor person pulled up several layers of linoleum. He did not sand or grind up any of the linoleum. He vacuumed and wet down the entire surface. The problem is that my two year old granddaughter was in the apartment while he was doing this. The windows were open and she was not in the kitchen while this was being done. As you can guess, I now know I made a terrible mistake. I've read most everything in this forum and, while I know the risk is minimal, I'm like that other grandmother who is worried sick. There was that black mastic in one area of the kitchen. The floor person wet it down with a soap and water solution before removing the mastic. He didn't do anything to the tiles that were underneath. I guess I'm hoping I'll learn that the risk to my granddaughter was minimal.
