I want to weave the entrance of two rooms into the den area.
I plan to go with the color from the original floors.

My questions are: Should I have the old areas stained or should I have the installer weave the opening areas and stain to match only the new weave area or strip and stain all the new and the old areas?

My installer said that he could match only the new weave areas, but I am just not sure about what to do.
