where to buy flooring - hardwood

I have been reading the forum and have learned one thing for sure, not to buy from Lumber Liquidators. Which brings me to my question? Where do I buy from? I live in the northeast (Philadelphia area). What about the big box stores (Lowes, Home Depot), what about Costco? We are just beginning this process and any guidance wood be appreciated!

Derr Flooring out of Willow Grove, PA distributes their flooring products through many independent dealers. Perhaps you might want to give them a call.
