Mullican Castillian Engineered wood floors

hi all,

Going for a new build and thinking of the above for our main living area: which is a big open living/dining/kitchen. We're in FL, so were advised on engineered vs the solid hardwood.
Any experience with this brand?... wear/durability/quality/customer service? we're fairly good with our floor, removing shoes at entry, etc- but have a 2-yo (cant predict his behavior at all times!) We're thinking of oak coffee bean since the space has eastern and southern windows and is very lighted up. Its a matte finish poly, made to mimic oil-rubbed, which I though was the best of both worlds.
Thank you in advance!
PS: Xposted in build-a-home forum, but got no responses.
