I've read the info on here about this topic. I just want to be sure before making a decision. We have stained concrete (black) done by previous owner. Easiest and cheapest would be to do floating .This would be about 1,000sq ft. I really don't want the hollow sound . Is there ANY way to float and not have a hollow sounding floor? If not we are looking at having to rent machine to take off sealer , cost of glue, and higher cost of install. We are willing to go to trouble/cost if that is the only way not to have hollow sound.
