| October 15th marked the beginning of Stone Crab Season!
Although I love Blue Crabs better...I'll 'settle' for now. :) Most of our friends are fishermen, so we get'm first thing in the morning right out of the traps after they pick'm up...Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Anyone else enjoy them?

| I am so jealous. The only fishing in my neck of the woods is freshwater. A crabfeast sounds great! Thats about $6-$10lb. at the market! :( Enjoy! Eat some for me with a bath of garlic butter! Jackie |

| You ought to try coming up here (Maine)! When I first moved up here, a good friend of mine was a lobsterman, and my ex and I went out with him one time picking up the traps. Once he was done, he lit up a propane stove and filled a kettle with saltwater, and put it on the fire. We boiled lobsters right there on the boat-- the BEST I've ever had, and I've lived in New England most of my life!! |
