I have used fountains in my pond(s), but on a much smaller scale. I think smaller fountains and waterfalls and streams are more common in the home ponds you see on here. The type of large scale fountain you seem to be talking about is very pretty, but I have only seen it near me in front of more commercial buildings. I have seen it in front of an upscale apt complex near the entrance, and in front of a commercial building with professional landscaping. While there are all kinds of ponds, most here seem to have fish and/or be water gardens, and people like to see the fish. I have small ponds so I have only ever used a small multi tier fountain nozzle and a "bubbler" fountain. Spray leaving the pond from the wind is always an issue. So for that reason only, I would consider going with the smaller one. Because if you find the wind blowing the spray out of your pond, it will drain your pond and make upkeep difficult. Since you can't return it, that would be a waste of money. That is another reason people with smaller ponds probably don't use them a lot. And most "backyard" ponds are probably smaller than yours.

Yes, the Microwave and Speed Cook settings use microwaves but the convection cook setting just uses circulating hot air. In theory, you could also create a speed setting that only uses the halogen and convection, but not the microwaves, though you'd have to trial and error it to see if it's worth it. It might just get the outside done way too fast and leave the inside raw. Microwaves don't actually do anything to the food that's unhealthy unless you let it get overcooked--they just speed up the molecules--but to each his own. Just make sure that they don't revile a machine that has the potential to create microwaves before you buy. But if you just mean you want to be able to convection cook (hot air) only to avoid an argument, yes, there's no need to tell them that it's also a microwave.

This is such a good question, because those burps are really gross. They don't bother me as much as they do my husband. They have almost made him sick before, so he's completely stopped taking them. Have you tried switching to a different brand? I was given some samples from a friend that worked for an eye doctor. They are also used to help people who suffer with chronic dry eyes. I'm sorry I can't remember the brand, but they didn't make me burp at all. DH still wouldn't try them, his experience was too bad with the first kind. So I don't know if it was just me or not. They were gels with the oil inside (like vitamin E). Sorry, this isn't much help.

No offense to all the McD lovers out there, but I can eat a burger at Wendy's, In & Out, or Red Robin, and not get sick. Two bites from Mc Donalds's and I'm nauseated. Grease or beef, I still say YUCK. (and I used to love the big mac as a kid!) and I used to work for several fast food places, including McDonalds, Taco Bell & Wendy's. Wendy's is the ONLY place at the time that made their own patties with fresh ground beef. I think In & Out does too. Taco Bell USED to fry their meat & boil their own beans, now everything comes in a 'boil in bag' that you don't know what is in it. (even their veggies are prepackaged now, they used to be cut & diced daily) I'm not a big 'fast food' person. Once you see how things are done behind the scenes, it changes how you feel about what you see in the commercials.
