We have a huge gazebo with a firepit in the middle which is pretty spectacular. We had a large hood made up to raise up and down over the firepit. This is pretty wonderful unless there's a wind and then it gets just too smoky so we lower the hood down over the fire. This still gives off a tremendous amount of heat but you don't see the fire. I was wondering if you found a fireplace yet for your gazebo? We want a large one or even an attractive wood burning stove.
