| I bought a pellet stove last year and absolutely love it. Saved about $800 durig the first year from my heating bill which used to be strictly oil. The only thing I dislike is the black soot that it leaves on the outside of the house. Incase you are wondering I direct vented the stove through the wall. No other option because of where the stove has to be located. Does anyone know of a product that removes this soot from vinyl siding without too much difficulty? |

| I am no expert as this is my 1st year with a pellet stove, but how about using the glass cleaner that they sell for these stoves that's supposed to cut creosote build up. |
