Placement of fireplace sconces

If you have fireplace sconces, could you please post photo's. I'm trying to decide if I want the sconces on the side of the overmantle or on it. I need to decide soon as the wall is getting ready to be dry walled. Seeing others placement of sconces will help me visualize my own. Thanks so much.
