I need help with ideas what to do about/with my hideous chimney. I am planning on putting on a new roof in the upcoming year, but obviously the chimney needs some help. It is basically a plywood box with some trim that a stove pipe runs up and out of. I have an "L" shaped brick ranch that is pretty basic, so I'm just looking to "polish the turd" a little if you will. Does anybody have any ideas that won't break the bank, or should I just stick with the status-quo and break out some more white paint?
